Anymore Taruvinga

Principal Officer and Chief Executive 

Mr. Anymore Taruvinga was appointed Principal Officer and Chief Executive with effect from 1 November 2025. Prior to joining the Fund, Mr Taruvinga served as Chief Executive Officer of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Zimbabwe, having previously spent eight (8) years with the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange in various capacities including Head of Business Development and Head of ZSE Markets.

Mr Taruvinga holds an MSc Finance and Investments and BCom Finance (Hons) degree from the National University of Science and Technology (NUST). He attained his CFA Charter in 2014 and holds a Certificate of Proficiency in Retirement Funds Trusteeship from the Insurance Institute of Zimbabwe (IIZ).

He is also a Non-Executive Board Member of POSB and previously served in a similar capacity with the Investor Protection Board.

Laurence T. Karumazondo
MBA, LLM, LLB
Deputy Principal Officer (Legal & Operations)

Mr. Laurence T. Karumazondo was appointed as Deputy Principal Officer (Legal and Operations) with effect from 1 July 2017. Prior to joining the Fund, Laurence was the General Manager of Promobile (Pvt) Ltd. Laurence is a legal practitioner registered with the Law Society of Zimbabwe. He holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Nottingham Trent University, a Masters Degree in Commercial Law (LLM) from the University of Cape Town, as well as a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) Degree (LLB) from the University of Zimbabwe.

Laurence has work experience spanning over 15 years gained from the mining, insurance and financial service sectors.

He served as the Fund’s Acting Principal Officer from 1st June 2025 to 31st October 2025.

Prisca Nyayera
BCom (Hons) Accounting, ACCA
Deputy Principal Officer (Finance & Investments)

Ms. Prisca Nyayera was appointed as the Deputy Principal Officer (Finance and Investments) with effect 1 March 2018. Prior to her appointment, she was employed as the Fund’s Finance Manager. Prisca has been with the Fund since 1 March 2007.

She is a Chartered Certified Accountant and also holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree in Accounting from the National University of Science and Technology.
